WA Seeking Feedback to Modernise WHS Laws

The Western Australian Government is seeking feedback on prosed updates to the work health and safety laws. 
The modernised laws will be based on the national model Work Health and Safety Bill and replace the 3 existing acts: the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984, Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994, and Petroleum and Geothermal Energy Safety Levies Act 2011. 
The public has been asked for comments on the recommendations. The closing date for comments is 5PM on 31 August 2018.
